LOWER SECONDARY LANGUAGE & LITERATURE
ACE ENGLISH lessons help lower secondary students distinguish English secondary exam expectations for all 4 papers so that they are familiar with the new MOE O Level Syllabus. ACE ENGLISH also introduces Literature Analysis. Students analyse poetry and prose extracts for figurative literary techniques, themes and learn how to answer language use comprehension question types. ACE ENGLISH compulsory reading program stimulate students' interest in reading and build vocabulary. Students learn to express themselves well, make speeches and tell stories.
UPPER SECONDARY O LEVEL ENGLISH
ACE ENGLISH Tutor helps upper secondary students revise literary devices, techniques in visual texts, summary skills to master the new complex comprehension question types. ACE ENGLISH lessons also target frequently tested genres for situational writing, and argumentative essays. Emphasis will be on learning frameworks of question analysis to handle exams, content perspectives for current affairs and mastery of vocabulary and difficult grammar questions.
